- What it installs
- The Nix Agents desktop app, per user, in your AppData folder. No admin rights, no bundled offers, no browser extensions, no other software. Uninstall any time from Settings → Apps.
- What it needs
- Windows 10 or 11. Agent CLIs such as Claude Code or Codex are not included; you install them yourself and sign in with your own account.
- Windows SmartScreen
- This beta installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows may show “Windows protected your PC” on first launch. Check the SHA-256 below first, then choose More info → Run anyway. Signed builds follow with the 1.0 release.
- Privacy
- The app runs on your machine. Read the privacy policy and the terms.
