BTA Labs builds desktop software. Most of what you do with it never reaches us, because it never leaves your machine.

What the app sends us

The public site records a minimal first-party page view so we can see which launch pages are useful. It stores the path, referrer host, optional campaign labels, language and viewport width. It does not store an IP address, full URL, user-agent or advertising cookie. When you are signed in, the visit is linked to your account id so you can be counted in the account activity summary. Nix Agents itself runs locally: your projects, terminals, git worktrees and conversation history are files on your own disk. Model calls go from your machine to the provider whose key you supplied. We are not in that path and we do not proxy it.

What an account holds

• The email address on your Google or GitHub account.
• Which plan you are on and whether it is paid up.
• Which machines have an active session, so you can sign them out.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. We never receive, store or transmit card details. What comes back to us is whether a subscription is active.

The beta-tester list

If you leave an email address, it is used once: to tell you when your account is open. It is not sold, shared or added to a newsletter, and every message includes a one-click unsubscribe.

Getting your data out, or deleted

Write to btalabs.contact@gmail.com and say which you want. Deleting an account cancels its subscription and removes the email address; nothing on your own machine is touched, because we cannot reach it.
